Our Story
The Crescent Inn Restaurant is located at Zions Crossroads off I-64 in Louisa. This authentic diner was opened in 1956 and served as the only restaurant between Charlottesville and Richmond for many years. Many people are surprised to come into the restaurant and see the "old fashioned" wood paneling and juke boxes, which are all original to the restaurant!
The Crescent Inn restaurant is a family restaurant and has been totally owned and operated by the same owners for the past fifty eight years. The staff at the Crescent Inn are considered family with many of our employees having worked here for multiple decades. It is not unusual to come in on a weekend to have the owner cooking in the kitchen with her daughter, her granddaughter and daughter-in-law waitressing, and her grandson washing dishes! We welcome you to become part of our family as well!
The business is also highly involved in the community giving back to many sports teams and organizations.
Because of the unique nature of the Crescent Inn, it has also been featured in films such as "Blue Ruin," a 2013 film directed by Jeremy Saulnier and recipient of the FIPRESCI Prize at the Cannes Film Festival.
